Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and user acceptance testing
- Document bugs and defects using JIRA with precise reproduction steps
- Collaborate with development teams to validate fixes and ensure quality releases
- Analyze test results and provide actionable improvement recommendations
- Automate test scripts using Selenium/Cypress for regression testing
- Participate in agile ceremonies and sprint planning sessions
- Maintain test environments and documentation libraries
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on QA testing experience (manual and automated)
- Proficiency in bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management systems
- Familiarity with agile/scrum methodologies and QA best practices
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured)
- Knowledge of SQL for database validation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- CompTIA A+ or ISTQB Foundation certification preferred
