Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and wireless networks.
- Perform routine network audits, system checks, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, hardware failures, and software glitches.
- Handle structured cabling tasks, including fiber and copper installation.
- Document all network changes, configurations, and maintenance activities accurately.
- Collaborate with the IT management team to implement security protocols and upgrades.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or similar certification preferred.
- Proven experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and VLANs.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments.
- Valid New Jersey driver’s license and clean driving record.
