- Infrastructure Maintenance: Monitor and maintain server health, databases, and trading APIs during weekend market sessions to ensure zero downtime.
- Algorithm Optimization: Analyze performance metrics from the previous week and implement optimizations for equity options pricing engines.
- Code Deployment: Execute rigorous testing and deployment of software patches and feature updates for weekend trading strategies.
- Risk Management: Collaborate with the quantitative research team to validate risk models and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Incident Response: Troubleshoot and resolve technical anomalies in real-time, working closely with the on-call support team.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation for all weekend maintenance procedures and system changes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a preference for candidates having worked in high-frequency trading or financial markets.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in C++ and Python; strong knowledge of Linux environments and SQL databases.
