Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions using modern frameworks and languages
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality code on weekend schedules
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and code reviews
- Optimize system performance and implement security best practices
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical documentation
- Resolve complex production issues and implement robust monitoring systems
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript with experience in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and CI/CD pipelines
- Demonstrable problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday)
- Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems (Git)
