Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk/Symantec)
- Lead incident response for APT and ransomware attacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and maintain security documentation (playbooks, policies)
- Collaborate with engineering teams on secure architecture design
- Provide mentorship to junior security analysts
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with SOC experience
- Certifications: CISSP, GIAC GCIH or equivalent
- Expertise in threat detection and response methodologies
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and CIS controls
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
