Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions using Java, Python, and cloud technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement agile methodologies and deliver high-quality code
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and optimize application performance for weekend production environments
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers to maintain technical excellence
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for weekend production support and incident response
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and DevOps best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of professional software development experience in Java or Python
- Strong proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and microservices architecture
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proven problem-solving skills with ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in remote teams
- Relevant certifications (AWS/Azure, Scrum) preferred
