Responsibilities
- Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma and Adobe XD
- Develop user journey maps and information architecture for digital products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, marketing) to deliver cohesive experiences
- Present design solutions to stakeholders and iterate based on feedback
- Participate in daily stand-ups, design critiques, and agile ceremonies
- Maintain and evolve design systems to ensure consistency across platforms
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Psychology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating visual design sensibility and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch) and prototyping software
- Basic understanding of front-end development principles (HTML/CSS)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate design rationale
- Keen eye for typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy
- Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- Passion for user-centered design and continuous learning
