Responsibilities
- Collaborate: Work hand-in-hand with product managers, developers, and senior designers to define product requirements and user stories.
- Research: Participate in user research activities, including interviews and usability testing, to gather insights into user behaviors and needs.
- Wireframing: Create low-fidelity wireframes and high-fidelity mockups using Figma or Sketch to visualize design concepts.
- Prototyping: Build interactive prototypes to test design hypotheses and communicate the user flow effectively.
- Testing: Assist in analyzing test results and iterating on designs to improve user satisfaction and conversion rates.
- Documentation: Maintain a clean design system and document design decisions to ensure consistency across the product.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Portfolio: A portfolio demonstrating your design process, thoughtfulness, and attention to detail (class projects or personal projects are welcome).
- Tools: Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or InVision.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions clearly to non-design stakeholders.
- Mindset: A strong user-centric mindset and a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
