Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement and maintain security controls for cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Develop incident response plans and conduct tabletop exercises
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure regulatory compliance (NIST, ISO)
- Lead threat intelligence analysis and proactive threat hunting
- Document security procedures and maintain compliance documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 2+ years in incident response
- CISSP, CEH, or CISM certification required
- Expertise in network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS) and endpoint protection
- Experience with cloud security frameworks (AWS Security Hub, Azure Sentinel)
- Strong knowledge of threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
