Responsibilities
- Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to identify pain points
- Create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes using Figma
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to implement design systems
- Develop responsive UI designs for web and mobile applications
- Present design solutions to stakeholders with clear rationale
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback and analytics
- Maintain and evolve design documentation and style guides
Qualifications
- 3+ years of UX design experience with portfolio demonstrating user-centered work
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools
- Strong understanding of design systems and accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Experience with user research methodologies (interviews, surveys, testing)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ case studies with process documentation
- Local Hawaii residency preferred (or willingness to relocate)
