Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive Software Engineer to lead technical initiatives during our off-peak hours. You will be instrumental in maintaining system integrity, optimizing legacy code, and deploying new features that drive our business forward.
Responsibilities
- Design, code, and test high-quality software solutions using modern technologies.
- Debug and resolve complex production issues that arise over the weekend.
- Participate in the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including deployment and maintenance.
- Collaborate with the product and QA teams to define technical requirements.
- Optimize database performance and ensure application scalability.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all code changes and technical processes.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure best practices and security standards are met.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript).
- Must be available to work on weekends (Saturday/Sunday) as part of the core shift.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is highly preferred.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on detail.
