Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance backend systems using Java/Python/Node.js
- Develop cloud-native applications on AWS/GCP with Kubernetes orchestration
- Lead API development and microservices architecture for enterprise clients
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical documentation
- Optimize system performance using caching strategies and database tuning
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience (MS preferred)
- 5+ years in full-stack development with Java/Python/JavaScript
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/K8s)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and event-driven architecture
- Experience with microservices patterns and distributed systems
- Proficiency in testing frameworks (JUnit, PyTest, Jest)
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system implementations
- Excellent problem-solving skills with system design experience
