Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software code for our core platforms, specifically focusing on night-coverage maintenance and incident resolution.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex backend issues, and implement patches during off-peak hours to minimize user impact.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps) to ensure seamless deployment of features and security updates.
- Write clean, well-documented, and scalable code following industry best practices and architectural standards.
- Participate in code reviews, technical planning sessions, and agile ceremonies to drive team efficiency.
- Automate deployment pipelines and infrastructure provisioning to reduce manual overhead.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on backend technologies.
- Proven experience working in Night Shift or rotating shift environments.
- Proficiency in at least two of the following: Java, Python, C#, or Node.js.
- Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously in a remote-first environment.
