Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend services using cloud-native technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliverables
- Optimize system performance and ensure high availability for mission-critical applications
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices for seamless deployments
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct rigorous code reviews
- Drive innovation through prototyping and experimentation with emerging technologies
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to product roadmap planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with backend technologies
- Expertise in at least one modern programming language (Python, Java, or Go)
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Proven experience with database design and optimization (SQL and NoSQL)
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and orchestration
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams
