Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust, scalable backend systems using Java/Spring Boot and cloud-native architectures
- Lead development of RESTful APIs and microservices while maintaining 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architectural discussions
- Optimize application performance and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/GitHub Actions
- Stay current with emerging technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, serverless computing) and propose innovations
- Contribute to technical documentation and best practices across the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience with 5+ years in software development
- Expert proficiency in Java, Python, and modern JavaScript frameworks (React/Angular)
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of database design (SQL/NoSQL) and caching strategies
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to balance technical debt and innovation
- Strong communication skills with experience collaborating in remote/ hybrid environments
- Preferred: AWS certification or experience with SaaS product development
