Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test plans across web, mobile, and desktop applications
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA and defect management tools
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and validate fixes
- Develop test cases covering functional, regression, and user acceptance testing
- Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives to improve QA processes
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues
- Generate comprehensive test reports with clear metrics and recommendations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of QA testing experience in software development lifecycle
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright)
- Strong knowledge of bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla) and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and QA best practices
- Experience testing RESTful APIs and database validation (SQL)
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
