Responsibilities
- Lead and manage incident response efforts for security breaches and cyber threats.
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on internal and external networks.
- Design, implement, and monitor security protocols and firewalls to prevent unauthorized access.
- Ensure strict compliance with industry standards such as SOC2, HIPAA, and GDPR.
- Analyze security logs using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to detect anomalies.
- Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and emerging threats.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network security concepts, protocols, and encryption.
- Experience with SIEM tools and EDR solutions.
- Proven track record in threat hunting and vulnerability management.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
