Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN networks including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Cisco Prime
- Implement and troubleshoot VPN, VLAN, and wireless security protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud migration projects (AWS/Azure)
- Document network changes and create detailed technical documentation
- Respond to outages with 24/7 on-call rotation (1 week/month)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto technologies
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud services
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Ability to lift 50lbs and work in server environments
