As a Network Technician, you'll be the backbone of our operations, ensuring seamless connectivity across 50+ sites. You'll work with industry-leading technologies and contribute to projects that directly impact our clients' success. Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco/Juniper network equipment including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and proactively resolve connectivity issues
- Implement and maintain security protocols (VPN, ACLs, intrusion detection)
- Document network changes using Visio and ServiceNow
- Collaborate with cloud teams to hybridize infrastructure solutions
- Provide Tier-3 support during critical outages and maintenance windows
- Train junior staff on network best practices and automation tools
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Engineering or 3+ years equivalent experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification (required)
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and BGP routing protocols
- Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere and Hyper-V
- Strong analytical skills for root cause analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to lift 30lbs for equipment installations
- Valid driver's license for occasional site visits
