Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Nagios to ensure 99.9% uptime
- Implement cybersecurity protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve network outages and service disruptions
- Document network architecture, changes, and troubleshooting procedures
- Support VoIP systems and cloud-based network services
- Train junior staff on network best practices and technologies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper network hardware
- CCNA/CCNP or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, PRTG)
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) and SD-WAN solutions
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Valid California driver's license for occasional site visits
