Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN systems, routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and implement security protocols
- Document network configurations, changes, and create technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless IT operations
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for network-related incidents and escalations
- Proactively identify and resolve network vulnerabilities to prevent downtime
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent network hardware
- CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP)
- Strong knowledge of network security principles (firewalls, ACLs, VPNs)
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
