Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and wireless networks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network connectivity issues, including hardware and software failures.
- Manage network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Monitor network performance and perform regular system backups and updates.
- Document network architecture, configurations, and changes for future reference.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new IT infrastructure projects.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users regarding network access and usage.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Valid Network+ or CCNA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in network administration and support.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and VLANs.
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or Arista networking equipment.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
