Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Proactively monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG
- Implement cybersecurity protocols to protect against threats
- Collaborate with cloud services (AWS/Azure) for hybrid network solutions
- Document network configurations and troubleshoot complex issues
- Provide Tier 2-3 support for critical business systems
- Lead network upgrade projects from planning to execution
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA/CCNP certification or equivalent industry credentials
- Expertise in Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto Networks
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with VMware and virtualization environments
- Ability to work flexible schedules including on-call rotations
