Responsibilities
- Monitor Security Operations Center (SOC): Continuously monitor alerts and events to identify potential threats in real-time.
- Incident Triage: Assist senior analysts in investigating and documenting security incidents and anomalies.
- Vulnerability Management: Participate in vulnerability scanning and remediation efforts to ensure system integrity.
- Log Analysis: Review system logs and network traffic to detect unauthorized access or suspicious behavior.
- Security Awareness Training: Educate internal stakeholders on best practices for cybersecurity hygiene.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of security events, incidents, and system configurations.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field is a strong plus.
- Passion: A genuine interest in technology, networking, and cybersecurity is essential.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
