Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and validate data from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within datasets.
- Visualization: Create interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools to present data findings to stakeholders.
- SQL Development: Write efficient SQL queries to retrieve data and support business intelligence initiatives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with management and cross-functional teams to define data requirements and solve business problems.
- Forecasting: Develop predictive models to forecast future trends and support strategic decision-making.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data processes, models, and methodologies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R. Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is required.
- Tools: Strong Excel skills and familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
- Analytical Mindset: Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Relocation: Willingness to relocate to the North Carolina area (Relocation assistance provided).
