Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Collect, process, and clean large datasets to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform in-depth statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within data.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and maintain interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Reporting: Develop comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders, translating complex data into understandable insights.
- Forecasting: Utilize historical data to build predictive models and forecast future business outcomes.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in data workflows and recommend solutions to optimize reporting processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for database querying and experience with programming languages such as Python or R.
- Tools: Strong working knowledge of BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in data analysis or a related role.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Relocation: Willingness to relocate to New York upon successful completion of the initial probationary period (assistance provided).
