Responsibilities
- Analyze high-volume equity options data sets to identify market trends and anomalies.
- Generate and maintain complex SQL queries and Python scripts for automated reporting.
- Create interactive dashboards in Tableau/PowerBI to visualize performance metrics for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the trading floor to provide real-time data insights during weekend operations.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reporting platforms.
- Document data workflows and analytical methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the financial services sector.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and data visualization tools.
- Experience working with weekend shifts or rotational schedules is highly preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to convey technical findings to non-technical audiences.
