Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance C++/Python systems for options pricing models and risk analytics
- Implement ultra-low-latency trading execution systems for equity options strategies
- Collaborate with quants to translate mathematical models into production-ready code
- Optimize system performance for real-time processing of market data and trade flows
- Lead code reviews and contribute to technical architecture decisions
- Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices in software development
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field (MS preferred)
- 5+ years experience in high-frequency trading or financial software development
- Expert proficiency in C++ and Python with strong multithreading skills
- Deep understanding of options pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial, Monte Carlo)
- Experience with low-latency networking and market data protocols (FIX, OUCH)
- Proven track record of optimizing systems for microsecond-level performance
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization technologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced financial environments
