Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Analysis: Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and develop interactive data visualizations and dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Reporting: Create comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders, translating complex data into clear business recommendations.
- Database Management: Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity across all systems.
- Forecasting: Utilize historical data to forecast future trends and support strategic planning initiatives.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in data collection processes and propose automated solutions to streamline operations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis or a similar analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (strongly required), Python or R, and experience with Tableau or Power BI.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data to non-technical audiences.
- Location: Currently based in Los Angeles, CA or willing to relocate to Virginia (Relocation assistance provided).
- Tools: Familiarity with Excel (Advanced/VPython) and ETL processes.
