Key Responsibilities
- Data Strategy & Modeling: Design, build, and maintain complex data models to support business intelligence and reporting requirements.
- Dashboarding & Visualization: Create interactive, high-level dashboards using Tableau and PowerBI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- SQL & ETL: Write optimized SQL queries and scripts to extract, clean, and transform massive datasets from various sources.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform deep-dive statistical analysis and A/B testing to validate hypotheses and drive product improvements.
- Reporting & Communication: Translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable business insights for executive leadership.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in data pipelines and implement automated solutions to improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: 3+ years of proven experience as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Analyst.
- Tech Stack: Strong proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and Excel (Advanced functions).
- Visualization: Experience with Tableau or PowerBI is required.
- Analytics: Solid understanding of statistical concepts, data mining, and probability.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present data to non-technical audiences.
- Location: Must be willing to work in California or support Virginia operations remotely.
