Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity threats across enterprise networks
- Implement and maintain security protocols (firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop incident response plans and conduct tabletop exercises
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST/CIS frameworks
- Document security policies and procedures
- Mentor junior team members on security best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity (SOC, security engineering, or incident response)
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and threat detection tools
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network architecture
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR, PCI-DSS)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
