Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security incidents using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement and manage firewall/IPS configurations (Palo Alto, Fortinet)
- Develop incident response playbooks and disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for secure CI/CD pipeline integration
- Perform forensic analysis of security breaches
- Stay current on emerging threats and zero-day vulnerabilities
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or related field
- Certified in CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in network security (TCP/IP, routing, switching)
- Hands-on experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (NIST, GDPR, HIPAA)
- Ability to work under pressure during security incidents
