Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices using Java/Python and cloud-native architectures
- Optimize system performance through continuous profiling and database tuning
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Lead incident response and root cause analysis for production issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, and event-driven architectures
- Proficiency in testing frameworks (JUnit, PyTest) and TDD practices
