Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and systems for suspicious activities and security breaches.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Respond to and mitigate security incidents in a timely manner.
- Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection software.
- Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and internal policies.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security best practices across the organization.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Familiarity with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel) and threat intelligence platforms.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
