Responsibilities
- Monitor Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems for alerts and anomalies during weekend shifts.
- Conduct incident response and triage security breaches to minimize operational impact.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and patch management to fortify network defenses.
- Analyze security logs and generate detailed reports for the security team lead.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enforce security policies and compliance standards.
- Respond to and remediate malicious activities, including phishing and malware threats.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network security.
- Strong knowledge of Security Frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).
- Familiarity with Threat Intelligence tools and EDR solutions.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell is highly preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CEH, Security+, GCIH) are a significant plus.
