Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents across the network.
- Perform 24/7 security surveillance during weekend shifts to ensure continuous protection.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and patch management for identified risks.
- Investigate and mitigate malware, phishing attempts, and unauthorized access.
- Generate and review detailed security reports and incident logs.
- Collaborate with the SOC team during handover periods to ensure seamless coverage.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards (NIST, ISO).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in information security or network administration.
- Proven experience in SOC operations, SIEM monitoring, and incident response.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, and network protocols.
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
