Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents across enterprise networks during weekend shifts
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical systems
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Collaborate with SOC team to document incident response procedures
- Perform forensic analysis on security breaches and generate detailed reports
- Stay current with emerging threats and countermeasures through continuous learning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence platforms
- Experience with Windows/Linux systems and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in high-pressure situations
