Key Responsibilities
- Monitor Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) dashboards for real-time threat detection and analysis.
- Lead and coordinate incident response efforts for weekend security breaches and system anomalies.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical network assets.
- Enforce strict access controls and security policies to prevent unauthorized data exposure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to patch vulnerabilities and secure infrastructure.
- Document all security incidents and maintain detailed forensic logs for compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Certification such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Security Operations Center (SOC) or Threat Intelligence.
- Proven experience successfully working in weekend or rotating shift schedules.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
- Deep understanding of NIST frameworks and cybersecurity best practices.
