We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our dynamic remote team. In this role, you will leverage data to drive strategic decision-making, specifically focusing on our weekend reporting operations. As part of our growing analytics division, you will bridge the gap between complex data sets and actionable business strategies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and ensure data integrity across all platforms.
Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) large datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency for reporting.
- Dashboard Creation: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct advanced statistical analysis and predictive modeling to forecast trends and support decision-making processes.
- Stakeholder Reporting: Prepare detailed weekly and monthly reports for management, highlighting insights and actionable recommendations.
- Database Management: Write and optimize complex SQL queries to retrieve data from various relational databases.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within data collection and reporting workflows.
- Remote Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with remote team members and cross-functional departments to align on data goals.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in data analysis or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle) and programming languages such as Python or R.
- Tools: Strong experience with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt to a weekend shift schedule while maintaining productivity and work-life balance.
- Location: Must be based in Indianapolis, IN or willing to work remotely across Georgia.
