Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our network.
- Respond to and remediate security incidents in accordance with established protocols.
- Configure and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001, HIPAA, and NIST.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and network protocols.
- Experience with Linux, Python, or Bash scripting is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure during security breaches.
