Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and security systems 24/7 to detect and respond to cyber threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify potential risks before they are exploited.
- Implement and manage advanced security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS).
- Investigate security breaches, analyze logs, and coordinate with IT teams to resolve incidents efficiently.
- Ensure strict compliance with industry standards such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
- Develop and update comprehensive security documentation and incident response plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to educate staff on security best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or SANS GSE are highly preferred.
- 3+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information security.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and network architecture.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and endpoint protection platforms.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and respond quickly to emergencies.
