Responsibilities
- Monitor security events and alerts through SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, ArcSight).
- Conduct daily vulnerability assessments and manage patching cycles.
- Investigate, triage, and respond to security incidents and breaches.
- Assist in the implementation of security controls and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
- Collaborate with IT teams to strengthen network security posture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a SOC or Threat Intelligence role.
- Active CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST).
