Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and manage network security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and ISO 27001.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to design secure system architectures.
- Prepare and present detailed incident reports and risk assessments to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network administration, or IT operations.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or PowerShell for automation tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
