Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events in real-time to identify potential threats and breaches.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to strengthen infrastructure security.
- Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement remediation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory standards (NIST, ISO, HIPAA).
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement secure coding practices.
- Manage and maintain security tools, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and antivirus solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or network security analysis.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and SOC 2.
- Experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
