Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end development of distributed systems using Java/Spring Boot and AWS
- Mentor 3+ engineers through pair programming and design reviews
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines for 99.9% uptime in production environments
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specs
- Implement security best practices including OAuth2 and data encryption
- Drive architectural decisions using domain-driven design principles
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical blog content
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise-level software development
- Expertise in Java, Python, or Go with strong algorithmic knowledge
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
- Strong background in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Proven track record of shipping production systems with measurable impact
