Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization (VMware), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Implement and monitor security protocols to protect organizational data and systems
- Automate system administration tasks using scripting (PowerShell/Python)
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex infrastructure issues and user requests
- Coordinate disaster recovery planning and system backup procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT infrastructure projects
- Document system configurations and maintain technical documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in system administration with Windows/Linux environments
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and security best practices
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in automation tools (Ansible, Puppet) and scripting languages
