Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization platforms, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Implement and monitor security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls
- Provide Tier-2/3 technical support for 500+ users across multiple office locations
- Automate system administration tasks using PowerShell, Python, and Ansible
- Oversee backup/recovery procedures and disaster recovery testing
- Document IT infrastructure, SOPs, and configuration changes
- Collaborate with network engineers to optimize system performance
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on system administration experience
- Expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, and SCCM
- Strong knowledge of VMware ESXi and Hyper-V virtualization
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+ or Microsoft Azure Administrator preferred
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix) and scripting languages
- Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware/software issues
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Valid US driver's license and ability to travel between sites
