Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux/Windows servers and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Implement robust security protocols and perform vulnerability assessments
- Monitor system performance and resolve critical outages within SLA targets
- Automate workflows using Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools
- Manage virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Document systems architecture and maintain compliance frameworks
- Provide Tier-3 support and mentor junior team members
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in enterprise system administration
- Expertise in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Active Directory
- Certifications: AWS SysOps, CompTIA Server+, or equivalent
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash/PowerShell)
- Proven disaster recovery and backup implementation
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus)
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
