Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze advanced persistent threats (APTs) using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response for critical security breaches with 24/7 on-call rotation
- Develop threat intelligence reports and mitigation strategies for federal clients
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on classified networks
- Collaborate with SOC teams to enhance detection capabilities and playbooks
- Present findings to executive stakeholders and CISOs
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in threat analysis/incident response
- CISSP, GIAC GCIH, or CompTIA Security+ certifications required
- Expertise in MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat hunting methodologies
- Experience with NIST SP 800-53 and FISMA compliance frameworks
- Proficiency in network forensics tools (Wireshark, Zeek) and memory analysis
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph preferred
- Strong written communication for reporting to government agencies
