Responsibilities
- Architect and implement advanced threat detection systems across hybrid cloud environments
- Lead incident response for critical infrastructure breaches with 24/7 rotation
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for financial services clients
- Develop zero-trust security frameworks aligned with NIST and ISO 27001 standards
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security awareness across technical teams
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Report to CISO and present findings to executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in enterprise-level engineering
- CISSP, CEH, or OSCP certification (required)
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and network defense tools
- Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong Python/Go scripting for automation tasks
- Recent financial services or healthcare security experience preferred
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance within 30 days
